The PowerPoint clearly and visually demonstrates how to identify them. It also explains how to identify linking verbs in sentences when verbs can act as both linking and action verbs (looks, tastes, feels, appears, etc).
The PowerPoint also contains a link to a short video on linking verbs.
13 Page Workbook
The workbook contains three information sheets and ten worksheets on linking verbs. Tasks include identifying linking verbs within sentences, insertion of the correct linking verb in sentences and writing own sentences containing linking verbs. There is also an information sheet on linking verbs.
