As well as writing some of the most widely read stories of all time, such as ‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘A Tale of Two Cities’, ‘Oliver Twist’, ‘David Copperfield’. ‘The Pickwick Papers’ and ‘Great Expectations’, the presentation explains how Charles Dickens’ writing drew attention to the plight of the working classes in Victorian England. The PowerPoint also contains a link to a short, seven-minute video on his life and works.
