This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Entry Level 2. It contains an age-appropriate, 125-slide PowerPoint lesson on division (Outcome 8: Divide two-digit whole numbers by single-digit whole numbers and express remainders).

This PowerPoint lesson clearly demonstrates what division is, how to divide using short division (bus stop method) and how to deal with remainders.

The PowerPoint will help pupils to achive the following outcomes:

Understand that division is the inverse of multiplication
