PowerPoint Lesson
The PowerPoint will help pupil to achieve the following outcomes:
to recognise 1/2 (half) of whole numbers and shapes
to recognise 1/4 (one quarter) of whole numbers and shapes
to recognise 1/10 (one tenth) of whole numbers and shapes
to apply knowledge of these fractions to solve real-life problems.
Many opportunities are provided within the PowerPoint for pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of fractions and to apply this knowldege to solving real-life word problems.
Workbook
The 35-page workbook contains five information/explanation pages, twenty-two worksheets, two progress checks, a certificate of achievement and answers. Tasks and activities have been designed to help pupils to achieve the outcomes outlined above.
