The resources will enable students to achieve the following outcomes:
Use metric measures of length including millimetres, centimetres, metres and
kilometres
Use measures of weight including grams and kilograms
Use measures of capacity including millilitres and litres
Read and compare positive temperatures
Read and use simple scales to the nearest labelled division
To use knowledge of measure to solve real-life problems
PowerPoint Lesson
The PowerPoint includes explanations, tasks and activities designed to achieve the outcomes outlined above. Many opportunities are provided within the PowerPoint for pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of measure and to apply this knowledge to solve solve real-life word problems.
Workbook
The 45-page workbook contains eleven information/explanation pages, thirty-two worksheets, three progress checks, a certificate of achievement and answers.
