This resource has been designed for students working towards the AQA Entry Level Certificate in Maths who are working at Entry Level 1. Tasks and activities have been designed to help pupils to achieve the following learning outcomes:
to recognise coins and notes up to £20
to show different ways of making amounts of money
to add up to 20p in 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p coins
to add up to £20 in £1 and £2 coins
to apply knowledge of money to solve word and number problems
