The workbook has been designed to enable pupils to achieve the following learning outcomes:
To recognise and know the value of different denominations of coins and notes.
To recognise and use symbols for pounds (£) and pence §.
To combine coins and notes to make a particular value.
To add up coins/notes to find their total value.
To find different combinations of coins that equal the same amounts of money.
To select the correct coins to pay for items.
To solve word problems involving amounts of money.
