Multiplication – Functional Skills Maths – Entry Level 2

This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Entry Level 2. It contains an age-appropriate, fully editable, 170-slide PowerPoint lesson on multiplication (outcome 6: Multiply whole numbers in the range 0x0 to 12×12 (times tables).

The PowerPoint will help pupils to achieve the following outcomes:

to understand that multiplication is the same as repeated addition.
to multiply whole numbers in the range 0 × 0 to 12 × 12 (times tables).
to recall and use multiplication facts for the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
to use and interpret multiplication in real-life situations for solving problems.
