Shape – Functional Skills Maths – Entry Level 2

This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Entry Level 2 (Edexcel-Pearson, NCFE, City and Guilds and Open Awards). It contains an age-appropriate, 38-page workbook that includes 13 information/explanation sheets, 22 worksheets, two progress checks and a certificate of achievement on shape and space – Outcomes 20 and 21.

Tasks and activities have been designed to help students achieve the following learning outcomes:

Describe the properties of common 2-D and 3-D shapes including numbers of
sides, corners, edges, faces, angles and base

Use appropriate positional vocabulary to describe position and direction
including between, inside, outside, middle, below, on top, forwards and
backwards

The resource is available in both a PDF and an editable version to enable teachers to personalise the resource if desired.
