This is an editable, 200-slide PowerPoint lesson on making plurals for nouns. The PowerPoint explains the rules for making plurals for: <\/p>\n

regular nouns – adding ‘s’<\/p>\n

nouns ending in ‘ch’ , ‘sh’, ‘x’, ‘ss’, ‘z’ and ‘s’<\/p>\n

nouns ending un ‘o’<\/p>\n

nouns ending in ‘f’, ‘ff’ and ‘fe’<\/p>\n

nouns ending in ‘y’ preceded by a consonant<\/p>\n

irregular plurals<\/p>\n

exceptions to the rules<\/p>\n

Opportunities are provided within the PowerPoint for pupils to form plurals and there is a timed plural challenge activity.<\/p>\n
